Why Subscribe to Blogrdoc?

Do you really need another ’self-improvement’ feed added to your list? Probably not. However, here’s what I offer on blogrdoc.com. This mix of characteristics is something I don’t think you’ll get anywhere else:

1. Obtain a unique perspective. I’m a chemical engineer working in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing and chemical engineer is like a dying art in the US. Everything is being shipped overseas. The views I give on this blog largely have this perspective in mind. The world I live in reads like a science fiction novel.

2. Learn how a scientist/engineer/inventor thinks. I am fairly well educated and am a published author. I got my PhD in Chemical Engineering and during my time in graduate school, I literally wrote the book on some fairly complex scientific topics. I have 12 patents (and counting) to my name and I love to innovate. What I try to do on this blog is arm you with how a scientist/engineer/inventor thinks. I try to avoid the ‘list’ posts where I tell you 15 tips for this or 5 tips for that (although I will do this sometimes, but rarely). Hopefully, the thought provoking posts I give will provide you some inspiration to generate your own such lists.

3. Help me help others. I’m on a mission to help some of the most destitute people in the world. I elaborate more on this in my Mar 2nd post. I haven’t entirely figured out how I can monetize this blog, but it’s part of my plan. Your participation and subscription to this rss feed encourages me to push on.

4. Smile and Laugh. I try to keep things fun. I’m a fairly random person, actually. Spontaneity and excitement are what make life worth living. If nothing else, this blog is about feeling human and enjoying life again. I say ‘again’ because, ironically, the medium through which you are reading this blog, or more specifically - the abuse of this medium, poses a real threat to our humanness and natural way we experience the world. Of course, if used correctly, it can help us re-connect, as well - and that’s what this site is about.
